Mardi Gras is right around the corner, why not start this season off with some crafts with the kids. Each week I will show you how to make some quick easy crafts for your kids to have fun during Mardi Gras! First we will start with Paper Plate Mardi Gras Mask.
Paper Plate Mardi Gras Masks
You Will Need:
- Paper Plate
- Pom Poms
- Pipe cleaners
1. Drawing and Cutting Mask Shape:
- First, you want to cut the paper plate in half, then draw an outline for the mask. Next. you want to cut along lines. Don’t forget to cut out the eyes.
Now you want to color your mask or add beautiful designs and add pom poms, glitter, or whatever you want to decorate your mask.
3. Coming Together:
- Add string to the back of your mask (Make sure you measure the string so it is long enough to fit around your head). You want to tape or glue the string to the backside of the mask. You can also add a stick to one side so you can hold the mask up to your face, I used super glue so it would hold.
Now you are ready for the ball and the parade!
